Public Transportation: The Canada Line metro goes into the YVR terminal, most hotels in downtown Vancouver are accessible from the various stations. At the very end of the line you'll find yourself at Waterfront station where you can catch the Seabus to North Vancouver.
Get Tristan to pick you up; if he is available he'll pick you up at YVR and drive you where ever you want to go; if you have kids we can arrange for our car to be set up with the necessary car seats.
All public transport; buses, metros, sky trains, seabuse; in the greater Vancouver area, including north Vancouver, operate on the same ticketing and payment system.Â
Payment/ticketing: You can either tap your credit card, your Compass card or your ticket to board anything public transport related. You save a bit if you buy a compass card but the short term difference using your credit card is generally negligible.
